23 He brings princes to naught
and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.

no sooner do they take root in the ground,
than he blows on them and they wither,
and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.

25 “To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One.
26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one
and calls forth each of them by name.

not one of them is missing.

27 Why do you complain, Jacob?
Why do you say, Israel,
“My way is hidden from the LORD;
my cause is disregarded by my God”?
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Prophet Isaiah saw the vision that all authorities compare to God are nothing. They are like flowers that fade, or chaff in the whirlwind. He saw that our God is the most Mighty and Wise God. He is the everlasting God and the Creator of the ends of the earth. He never gets weary or tired and at the same time gives strength to the weary and power to the weak. Strength and power belongs to God alone. Prophet Isaiah saw the vision that the weak or weary, once relying power and strength from the Lord, can renew their strength and fly again like an eagle which soars on wings in the sky. Prophet Isaiah envisions the spiritual life of a Christian is the life of freedom, like eagles soaring in the sky on wings that conquers the earthly attraction, temptations, and all kinds of evil powers.
Dear Lord, thanks for Your wonderful promise to me that I can also live a life of freedom, and a life of power and strength that comes from You. You call me to soar in the sky that conquers my fear, lack of faith, inner drives or complusiveness of own satisfaction, Satanic temptations, or all other kinds of earthly authorities. Draw me closer to You daily to put my hope in You, to praise You, to live out Your calling for bringing blessings to others.
