2 I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world. 3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Paul proclaims that we believers enter into a spiritual warfare that differs from that of the world. This spiritual warfare is to be against the flesh, the world, and the Satan who enslave the human beings. This spiritual warfare requires the spiritual weapon that is of the divine power of God that alone can demolish the strongholds that take captive of men. This divine power only originates from the words of God by the Spirit, aiming to demolish people's arguments and all kinds of strongholds that captivate people's will, mind, and affection, and to restore people's obedience back to Christ. This is a spiritual battle that only through prayer by the Spirit can achieve the goal of liberating people back to Christ.

My Holy Spirit, please continue to stir up my heart that I pray to you with a watchful heart, knowing that people are being captivated by the Satan and the world. We can only minister successfully through drawing your divine power that people can be liberated and transformed from the old lives. Help me first think about praying to the Spirit for all kinds of ministry and people needs that I am not relying on my own strength but the Divine Power of the Spirit, and experience You always.
