4 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. 6 Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” 7 So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

Thanks God that we believers receive the Holy Spirit, that is also the Spirit of the Son in our hearts, that the Spirit leads our spirits to call our Father God - Abba, Father. Christianity is about the restoration of or adoption to the sonship of Heavenly Father through the Spirit of the Son, Jesus Christ.

My Heavenly Father, as I pray for the deeper intimacy with You, I am assured that I have been adopted to be your son, just like Your Son, Jesus Christ. This is not merely an issue of theological understanding, but a spiritual reality that I can experience through the Holy Spirit, also the Spirit of the Son. Jesus lives in the Father, and the Father in him. This kind of amazing intimacy and daily relationship can now be realized in my life as the Spirit of the Son now also indwells in my heart. My Holy Spirit, good morning to you again. My Jesus, thanks for being with me always through your Spirit. My Heavenly Father,  my Abba, thanks for loving me and treasuring me in your heart as your beloved son just like You treat your Son Jesus, and share all your beauty and glory with him. You show your face and heart to Jesus, and I am also here today to gaze at your face and feel the touching of your loving hands in me.
