Do Not Grieve the Holy Spirit!

March 14, 2013 - Ephesians 4:30

4:30

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

We have grieved the Holy Spirit of God in our past life as we walked in darkness and hostility toward God and others. The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead, who loves us and dwells in believers' life in the most intimate relationship with us. Paul states that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, which represents a permanent mark in our life that will never fade away. We belong to the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit never departs us. The Holy Spirit becomes a guarantee that we will be finally redeemed when Christ comes. The Holy Spirit helps us to grasp the eternity though we cannot see by our physical eyes.

The Holy Spirit is the most precious gift given to us by God and Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the infinite source of Spiritual Power which enable me to be transformed like Christ in my earthly life. The Holy Spirit also enables me to minister, to love, to persevere, to trust, to pray, to witness God and Jesus' Gospel, and to enjoy the intimate relationship with Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. My dear Holy Spirit, I would never exchange You for anything no matter it may be the most desirable in people's eyes. I desire to love You more, to experience Your Love more, to see how You transform people's lives more, to see how Your Power is demonstrated in this world that I can foretaste how the Kingdom of God is so real to me and in my ministry life. My dear Holy Spirit, may You continue to powerfully work in your church and my family!
