11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the
evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of
service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
God exhorts believers to keep the unity by the Spirit, which is founded on the "One-ness" of our one faith, one Lord, one baptism, one Spirit, one God, one hope, and one body. However, we are diversified in our gifts that are endowed by God - the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers - in order to equip people of God for building up the body of Christ.
I pray that I can respond to God's calling to be a faithful pastor and teacher in order to equip and train up church's members to respond to God's callings in advancing His kingdom. I also continue to pray to the Holy Spirit that You speak to your church and move your people's spirits to align with Your working in us.
