Exalting Jesus Christ by His Spirit

18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.
Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, 19 for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. 20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.
Paul proclaims that he has the Spirit of Jesus Christ, who delivers him from danger and gives him sufficient courage so that he can exalt Christ in his body, whether by his life or death. Paul focuses his life in preaching Christ and that he rejoices though he may suffer for His name's sake. Paul lives out a Spirit-filled life by exalting Christ and experiencing Christ's deliverance in all dangers he met in his life.
My dear Spirit of Jesus Christ, I thank you again for Your dwelling in my heart. You delivered me from another "small danger" yesterday. You kept my footstep that I wasn't hurt. I pray that You today empower me that I can exalt Jesus Christ in whatever ways I can do for the Lord. Cultivate in my heart a strong awareness with the Spirit of Christ and a desire to witness Him as You lead me.
