10 This is what the LORD says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

Jeremiah encouraged Israelites not to lose hope in God though they were exiled to Babylon after the destruction of their own nation. God had a plan to prosper them and not to harm them - a plan of hope and a future. God would gather them again and bring them back to the place of the origin.   Jeremiah exhorted them to pray to God and to seek Him with all their hearts.

My Lord, thanks for giving Your promise to me as well that You intend to prosper me and lead me fulfill your plan in my life. You have your time of seventy years for Israelites and similarly have your time for my future destiny. My responsibility is to pray to You and to seek Your will with all my heart. This is presently my life transition that requires the seeking of Your will, but also my absolute obedience and surrender to You as it is revealed to me.
