1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God— 2the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures 3 regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David, 4 and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of holiness who resurrected Jesus from the dead by demonstrating His power and affirmed that Jesus is the Son of God. Holy Spirit becomes the agent that Jesus was resurrected from the dead; and Holy Spirit is also the agent who affirms Jesus as the Son of God by His power.

Dear God, thanks for Your Promise of the Gospel that has not been fulfilled through Your Son Jesus Christ. Dear Jesus Christ, thanks for your birth of becoming a fully human person to die for me on the cross. Dear Holy Spirit, thanks for your resurrection power in Jesus that He resurrected and becomes my Savior forever. I pray that I live in an intimate relationship with my Father, my Son, and my Spirit in the rest of my time today, and experience how the Spirit's Power continues to work in my lives and those people I pray for.
