7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Paul exhorts to the believers that a person reaps what he sows - destruction is reaped from the flesh while eternal life from the Holy Spirit. Living a Spirit-filled life shall reap eternal life, an everlasting loving relationship with God, while living a life of flesh shall reap destruction , an everlasting separation from God and all His beauty and life. Living a Spirit-filled life is also to continue doing good for the Lord and to overcome weariness though seeing the world and the sinfulness of person which may cause us frustrations and disappointments.

My Spirit, I earnestly pray for Your continual empowerment in my life and in all leaders of your church who love God sincerely. They may face frustrations and feel disappointed as they bear great burdens for your church and their own lives. Keep them in your love that they rely on your Spirit to face all kinds of oppositions and attacks from our enemy. Keep them strong and stand firm by Your Spirit and Your Love that their faiths can be more valuable than gold after going through all these trials.
